I am an active member and professional in L'Arche, a federation of communities of faith where people with and without intellectual disabilities share life together in a spirit of belonging.

 

As Director of Community Life at L'Arche Chicago, I am responsible for core members' (residents with disabilities) quality of life, assistants' formation, coordination of events, and fostering psychological, spiritual and community health in the homes.

I previously was live-in assistant in different US and European communities.

 

As co-chair of the L'Arche USA National Inclusion Team I/we have worked towards greater inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.         .      .                     .            .
